Aptia responds to DWP consultation on improving the standards of pension scheme trusteeship
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a consultation aimed at raising standards in pension scheme trusteeship, governance, and administration.
Responding to this, Malcolm Reynolds, Aptia’s UK President, said: 'We welcome this consultation and will respond in due course, considering its impact on Aptia, our clients, and the wider industry.
'We are particularly pleased to see recognition of the vital role administrators play and how strong relationships with Trustees can improve outcomes for all. This has been a core principle for Aptia since day one, and we’ll continue to champion it.
'We hope this consultation leads to meaningful metrics for success - moving beyond outdated SLAs and creating opportunities to collaborate on measures that truly reflect 21st century standards.'
