This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains the personal data collection, use, and sharing practices of Aptia UK Limited and its affiliates (together, “Aptia”, “we,” “us,” and “our”) in connection with your use of our website www.aptia-group.com (“Website”). 

Aptia UK Limited is a “controller” of personal data processed in connection with this Website to which the “European Privacy Laws” apply which, for the purposes of this Notice, means all applicable legislation and regulations relating to the protection of personal data in force from time to time in the UK, EU or EEA, including (without limitation) the General Data Protection Regulation as it forms part of the laws of England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. Unless stated otherwise, the terms “controller”, “data subject”, “personal data” and “processing” shall be interpreted in accordance with the European Privacy Laws.

Information We Collect

We collect personal data in multiple ways, including when you provide personal data directly to us and when we collect personal data from you through automated technologies (such as cookies) via your browser or device.

We do not intentionally collect special category or sensitive personal data in connection with your use of the Website unless you directly provide us with such personal data.

The Website is intended for users over the age of 18 and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly encourage or solicit visitors to this Website who are under the age of 18 or knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from children under the age of 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable.

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, in relation to the personal data that we process in connection with your use of the Website.

If you do not provide us with certain personal data, including by blocking any or all cookies or not providing relevant personal data in any correspondence with us, then you may be able to fully access or use the Website and/or we may not be able to respond to your correspondence in whole or in part.

Information that Is Automatically Collected

We may disclose your personal data to any additional third parties based on your consent to do so.

International Transfers
The Website is hosted in the UK. As described above in the “When We Disclose Your Information” section, we may share your personal data with third parties including service providers, affiliates and as required by law or in connection with our legal rights as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Notice. 

This may involve sharing your personal data with such third parties who are based outside of the UK, including jurisdictions that may not offer the same level of protection of such personal data as the UK. If transfer or make available your personal data outside of the UK, such transfers will only be made in accordance with, where applicable, the European Privacy Laws, which may include implementing appropriate safeguards.

Security Measures

European Privacy Laws


To the extent that European Privacy Laws apply to our processing of your personal data in connection with the Website, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data that we process in connection with this Website:

United States residents

Do Not Track

Individual users can enable their browsers to send DNT requests in addition to:
