Aptia’s 2025 Year in Review: Strategic Transformation, Platform Innovation, Partner Ecosystem Expansion, National Awards Recognition, Community Impact, and U.S. Growth
BOSTON, MA: Aptia Group, a leading US employee benefits administrator and global pensions and insurance provider, today released its 2025 year-in-review, highlighting a transformative year that reshaped Aptia’s go-to-market strategy, expanded its US footprint, accelerated technology modernization, established new industry relationships, and continues to deliver nationally recognized service excellence.
2025 marked the company’s most significant strategy evolution since its founding, bringing together a modernized go-to-market strategy, a next-generation technology announcement in AptiaOne and the launch of a new partner ecosystem.
“This was a defining year for Aptia. We strengthened our foundation as one of the most trusted and highest-rated benefits administration providers in the industry, while taking bold steps to modernize how employers manage benefits through intelligence, automation, and integrated technology.
“We modernized our go-to-market strategy, expanded our US footprint, advanced our technology vision with AptiaOne, and deepened our partner ecosystem. We welcomed key new leadership talent across Product, Technology, and Transformation – including Josh Welch, Doug O’Reilly, and Sam Berman – who are helping shape the next chapter of our growth.”
“Our 2025 accomplishments reflect the dedication of our colleagues and partners, and they position Aptia to lead the industry into a new era of benefits optimization, intelligence, and real value for our customers.” Jeff Williams, Aptia US President and CEO.
Aptia One: Technology Built for the Future
In September, Aptia introduced AptiaOne, next-generation benefits administration technology that unifies intelligence, automation, and integration across the benefits lifecycle. AptiaOne enables employers to gain clearer insights, identify issues earlier, integrate benefits more seamlessly, and support employees with year-round personalized guidance – not just during enrollment.
AptiaOne represents a major evolution in benefits administration, poised to meet today’s challenges and employer needs. It is cloud-native, AI-enabled, and built for continuous innovation. It empowers Aptia colleagues to work more efficiently, solve issues faster, and deliver ever greater accuracy and service quality with leading tools and automation.
Aptia continues to lead the industry with exceptional service performance, including 95% participant satisfaction score, 92% service level, and a world-class participant NPS score exceeding 80. In reference to Aptia’s work during Open Enrollment 2026 which saw a NPS score of 10/10, Sonoco said, “The team did a great job. We really appreciate all their hard work and dedication to making [Open Enrollment] successful.”
AptiaOne builds on that foundation and positions Aptia to meet the growing needs of employers and employees well into the future.
Product Innovation: Bringing the Technology to Life
Aptia’s product strategy is changing the way work gets done, simplifying administration, empowering colleagues, and creating a benefits experience that delivers better outcomes for employers and employees.
“AptiaOne was built to solve the challenges that have been growing in benefits. Employees expect holistic support and year-round guidance for their wellbeing, while employers are under increasing pressure to control costs, gain efficiencies, and still deliver an exceptional experience. At the same time, benefits complexity is exploding, making it harder for organizations to see what’s working, where opportunities exist, and how to make better decisions,” said Josh Welch, Chief Product Officer for Aptia.
“These needs have been in conflict for a long time, and the pressure is only becoming more acute. The industry needs a solution that can bring these priorities together. With AptiaOne, we’re bringing clients a modern, intelligent solution from a proven, trusted player. We’re incredibly excited to introduce this advancement at a time the industry needs it the most – and to help employers drive meaningful value from their benefits investments,” said Welch.
As Aptia enters 2026, the product focus shifts from building to scaling, enabling new capabilities, greater configurability, and expanded value for organizations and their people.
Partner Ecosystem
In 2025, Aptia launched Aptia Amplify Partners, a curated, pre-integrated ecosystem designed to simplify how employers can access third-party solutions and programs. Amplify Partners provides prebuilt integrations, embedded content, and coordinated engagement outreaches to accelerate adoption and results. Amplify will cover multiple types of benefits including condition management, mental health, wellbeing, financial wellness, and more. Kashable joined as the inaugural member, offering responsible credit and financial wellness tools with convenient payroll repayment. Multiple additional partnerships are planned in 2026 as part of Aptia’s broader ecosystem strategy.
Aptia also announced a strategic relationship with Flimp to deliver employer-branded benefits education and engagement through digital microsites, videos, interactive content, and guides to improve year-round communication and utilization.
Additionally, Aptia partnered with Noyo to drive industry-first API connectivity with health plans to simplify and accelerate enrollments with carriers, eliminating traditional time lags and errors associated with that process.
