Aptia, a leading provider of pension administration, consultancy and actuarial services, has appointed Diane Humble as Head of Corporate Pension Consulting.
Diane brings more than 15 years’ experience advising UK defined benefit pension sponsors and trustees on funding, de-risking and endgame strategy. She has particular expertise in supporting smaller pension schemes and has extensive experience developing and implementing liability management solutions, buy-in and buy-out strategies, and journey planning programmes.
Before joining Aptia, Diane held senior roles at EY, Mercer and JLT, where she advised clients across a wide range of industries on some of their most complex pensions challenges.
In her new role, Diane will work closely with pension schemes and sponsoring employers to support strategic decision-making, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex pensions landscape while ensuring that smaller schemes receive the specialist support they need.
Diane Humble, Head of Corporate Pension Consulting at Aptia, said: ‘I'm delighted to be joining Aptia at such an exciting stage in its growth journey. I am passionate about ensuring that smaller schemes receive the support and expertise they deserve. These schemes often face the same complex decisions as larger arrangements but can feel underserved by the market. I look forward to helping clients develop practical, effective strategies while contributing to the continued growth of Aptia's consulting business.’
Stuart Heatley, Managing Partner of Pensions Consulting, Aptia said: ‘As demand grows for high-quality strategic pensions advice, Diane's appointment further strengthens our consulting proposition and reflects our ambition to expand the support we provide to schemes of all sizes. Her passion for helping smaller schemes achieve the best possible outcomes aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering expert, client-focused solutions.’
