Aptia, a leading provider of pension administration, consultancy and actuarial services, has successfully connected all of its clients in-scope pension schemes to the Pensions Dashboards ecosystem - marking a major milestone in the industry's preparations for Pensions Dashboards.
Pensions Dashboards is one of the largest digital transformation programmes ever undertaken by the UK pensions industry. It will enable savers to view information about all their pensions securely online and in one place, making it easier to understand their retirement savings, reconnect with lost pension pots and make more informed decisions about their retirement plans.
The development comes at a time when many people remain uncertain about their retirement prospects. Recent research carried out by Aptia revealed that more than one in three people (34%) are unsure how much income their pension will provide when they retire.
Pensions Dashboards is one of the largest digital transformation programmes ever undertaken by the UK pensions industry. Once fully available to pensions savers, dashboards are expected to provide online access to pension information for more than 16 million people.
